It's tough to find things out of the ordinary to do with 2 little kids who are both fighting colds. We decided to drive up to Waterton and have a look around. We were surprised by the lack of snow in the mountains, and disappointed by the lack of sheep in town! But we did get to see a huge herd of Elk as we entered the park. The picture above gives you an idea how far away we were from them. And the pictures below show you how good my camera zooms in!.JPG)
The "MONSTER"
It was fun to get out of the house together and the kids were really good. We marvel at the smart things that Avery thinks to say. She is really putting sentences together and using her own ideas to communicate. We pulled away from the house and she says "It's nice out here!" Geo says, "Yeah, it's Beautiful!" So she says, "It's Boootiful out here!" She really liked seeing all the elk and the few deer that we saw.
Since we're talking about wildlife - we have a small herd of deer hanging around our neighborhood, and they got pretty close today. Whenever we talk of deer, Avery needs her "nock-a-lurs" because you always need binoculars when looking for deer! These are pictures of our local bucks from out our big kitchen window.

wowza!! This is funny because I had a dream the other night that you & all your neighbors were so excited because a big herd of sheep had come to live in your neighborhood & they were going to boost the economy & you didn't care that you had to tear down your new fence to put up a 10ft, chain-link fence to keep them out of your yard......weird. Anyway, looks like you had fun. And your camera is the bomb.com!
bomb.com? Interesting..... and the sheep dream too! Interesting
