Making Letters

So here are the pictures of Mom and me making letters to hang on the wall. I made "IMAGINE" for the girls playroom downstairs, and Mom made a D for her living room. )I forgot to get a picture of Mom's D... oops... It turned out really cute too!)

Diaper Cream... AGAIN!!

Ughhhhhh..... It took me a half hour to get Aves to "relax" enough to go for a nap... so she was falling asleep late in the afternoon (2pm-ish). I decided to get in the shower and get that done while I knew she was sleeping. Things were quiet down the hall, so I showered and got dressed. Went to the kitchen to find something to eat. Sat down with my... um... can't even remember now what I was eating. Heard a faint THUMP of a sound come from the hall. Well that's curious, I thought. It's been quiet down the hall for almost an hour now. Maybe her drink fell out of bed, or maybe SHE fell out of bed. I normally wouldn't have, but I decided to open the bedroom door and check on her. And this is what I saw:

And around the corner:

Sudocream EVERYWHERE! And she says to me "Mommy, I a bad girl!"

I just panicked and started shaking... I didn't even know where to start. I called George at work and asked him if he had some time to come home and help me. All I could tell him was "Just wait til you see what your daughter has done." I had her in the tub by the time he got here and the water was already white. I threw away her top because I didn't even want to run it through the washing machine. I'm freaking out about the carpet because I don't have the first clue about how to get the cream off it. George takes Avery and throws her in the shower in our room since the bath is not being very effective. And I tell him he better get her dressed and take her back to work with him because I can't stand the sight of her....

I called my Carpet Cleaning company "A Brighter Day - ChemDry" to see what they suggested I do, and maybe they could come to my house ASAP!? She started talking like Friday was the soonest they could come (this all happened on Monday), but then she called me back and said they could come the next day and he was able to come on Tuesday! Yay!

So the guy scrubbed by hand with his 2 chemical sprays and his scraper tool for almost an hour... and then he brought his power head in to give it the once over. I ended up having him do all the upstairs carpet while he had his equipment all hauled in. Funny point of interest: His toddler son did the same thing with Sudocream at his house!! I'm tempted to call the company and make a formal complaint. Now why wouldn't they make their containers with a screw top so that kids can't take the lid off?!? It's rediculous! If you have to leave your cream in a separate room from the kids, you're likely to not use it at all, right? So I think they have some serious re-thinking to do with their product packaging.

So the carpet looks pretty good now - you can still tell where some of the spots are, but he hoped that over time it would work it's way out. The best part is he gave me 10% off for being a "Valued Customer" and didn't charge me for the stain removal - only charged me for using the power head throughout the upstairs! What a deal! I completely recommend this company to anyone who is in need of carpet/upholstery/tile/grout cleaning! And if you could mention my name when you call them, I'll get a discount the next time they come here! And with this child of mine, I may need them regularly! So we could use all the help we can get!!

Anywho - I just posted 9 new posts!! So hopefully you have lots of time to sit here and look through them all! You'll probably have to click "Older Posts" at the bottom of my blog to see them all...... I've waited far too long to share stuff, and I have way too many pictures of my girls that I am proud of! So enjoy!!!

An Update About London

She is growing so fast - and I haven't posted new pictures of her in a long time. I've had these darling photos I took at 5 months old and haven't shown them to anyone yet! So now is the time! But let me back-track a bit. I'll start with some 3 Months Old photos....
(PS - I need to figure out how to add one of those slide-shows because I have way too many pictures in this post!)

I really love the chub of her legs, and how each leg has it's own unique "chub-folds" different from the other leg!

Here's 4 Months Old.... Love that hair!

This is one of the cute headbands Mom made using buttons and nylons!

Some 1st's for her:

1st Haircut (4 Months Old)

1st Taste of Oat Cereal (5 1/2 Months Old)

Can you see her Bam-Bam ponytail?! I love her expression, too......

1st Times Rolling Over

(Please ignore the terrible "Mom" talking that I do in this clip... turn your volume down!)

And since she can roll over now, this is her 1st Time Falling Asleep on her Tummy!

This is the sweater Hil gave Avery, so here are pictures of them both wearing it. I think London pulls it off better, don't you? London is 5 1/2 Months Old and Avery is 2 1/2 Months Old....

When Avery saw that I was taking pictures of London with her sweater on, she said "My sweater, too, Momma" and went to her drawer and got her own sweater on!

And NOW for all my favorite, darling pictures of our little Lundy-Lou. She's 5 Months Old in these pictures........

And I took these a couple weeks later, so 5 1/2 Months Old.....
